A case has been registered in opposition to a hotelier and 6 of his relations for allegedly harassing his spouse in suburban Amboli in Mumbai, police mentioned on Tuesday.
As per the grievance, the sufferer had married the hotelier in 2007 and the couple had 4 daughters, an official mentioned.
The accused harassed the sufferer continuously for not bearing a son and threw her out of the home two years in the past, preserving the custody of her daughters, the official mentioned.
Following a grievance, a case has been registered in opposition to the seven accused beneath related sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC), he mentioned.
No arrests have been made to this point, he added.
