Two days after a CRPF jawan was arrested for allegedly raping a tribal lady close to his camp in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, two of his colleagues have been positioned below suspension on Saturday, an official mentioned.
A lady had, on July 29, accused jawan Dulichand, stationed within the CRPF’s Dubbatota camp below Dornapal police station limits, of raping her in July 27, after which he was arrested on July 30 and handed over to native police after which suspended.
Two constables who have been on sentry obligation on the time have been suspended on Saturday for negligence in discharging obligation and a departmental inquiry has been initiated towards them, the official added.
